COVID RAPID TEST KITS AVAILABLE AT TOWN HALL!
FRIDAY, JANUARY 7, 2022 - 8:00AM-4:00PM

The Town of Putnam Valley has received 146 COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test At Home Self-Test Kits. Kits will be distributed at Putnam Valley Town Hall, 265 Lake Oscawana Road, Putnam Valley beginning tomorrow, Friday, January 7th - 8 am - 4 pm and on Monday, if we still have kits.

TOWN OF PUTNAM VALLEY RESIDENTS ONLY (1 PER HOUSEHOLD) PLEASE BRING PROOF OF RESIDENCY. NYS DRIVER'S LICENSES, TAX BILL, LEASE, UTILITY BILL, NYS ISSUED ID.

We have a very small number of kits available, the library, local church and local synagogue also have a very small number of kits also.
PLEASE, if you already have kits at home or have been recently tested, allow other residents who have been unable to access these kits get them. A positive result on an at-home test means the virus has been detected and you should self-isolate and if symptoms become severe and/or require, please contact your doctor.

Currently, at-home tests do not meet requirements for travel unless they include a telehealth component as outlined by the CDC here:https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-international-air-travelers.html. At-home tests generally do not meet the requirements set forth by healthcare providers for pre-procedure testing.

For information on pre-procedure testing, individuals should speak to a healthcare provider.
